Score Yourself!

Questions 1 through 11 describes symptoms experienced by people with Sleep Apnea; a potentially life-threatening disorder which causes you to stop breathing repeatedly, often several hundred times per night, during your sleep.

Questions 11 through 17 describes symptoms experienced by people with Narcolepsy; a lifelong disorder characterized by uncontrollable sleep attacks during the day.

Questions 23 through 28 describes symptoms experienced by people with Insomnia, a persistent inability to fall asleep, stay asleep or have non-restorative sleep.

If you show symptoms of any of the disorders listed above, please contact the Central Florida Sleep Institute. We can help you “sleep good…feel good”. A good night’s sleep is important to your well-being. Since most people spend roughly one third of their lives asleep, it is easy to see how the quality of sleep directly affects the quality of your life.

One out of three Americans has a sleep disorder which makes sleeping or waking hours miserable. Many of these people suffer needlessly simply because they are unaware that a problem exists.

Once detected, most sleep disorders can be corrected. This simple test is designed to alert you to any problems which may result from sleep disorders. Remember, the test you have just completed describes symptoms that are similar to those of individuals with sleep disorders. It is intended as a general source of educational information and should not be used for diagnosis or treatment.

If you think you may have a sleep disorder, speak with your personal physician or call Central Florida Sleep Institute, where you can rest assured that you will get an in-depth evaluation by a Board Certified Sleep Specialist.

We offer a full time day and night staff to care for your needs. Please call Central Florida Sleep Institute/Florida Cardiopulmonary Center for additional information, to have any questions answered or to set up an appointment for an evaluation.
